When we got married back in 2007, we hired a friend of the family to capture images because "it's just pictures." I was just worried about starting our lives together and thought the photos weren't important. Boy, was I wrong! All in all, it just wasn't a pleasant experience. To this day, I don't have any of those images up on my walls or even in an album, because they just don't bring joy to look at, which is SUCH a shame! 

When I decided to start photographing weddings, I knew that I wanted to offer brides what I didn't have. I wanted to offer couples more than a photographer...a friend that feels like just another bridesmaid, expertise, and vision. I knew I wanted to serve and love my couples well and pour into them and nurture not only their photography experience but their marriage too. Beautiful photos are only the start of this journey, my friend.

So you've decided we are the photographers for you! I assure you I've done an embarrassing little happy dance in celebration because you are officially booked and I LOVE working with couples like you!

Engagement sessions are such a great way to prep for your big day! It is always so much fun to get to hang out with my couples and get you feeling comfortable and confident in front of the camera. 

It's always so much fun doing these sessions. I highly recommend you make it into a big date night by getting professional hair and makeup done and then going out for a great dinner afterwards.

At about two months AND one month prior to your wedding date, I’ll check in with you to make sure your wedding questionnaire is complete and see if I can help you with any final details. If you opted for a bridal session we will do this as well.

We will also review your customized day of timeline, make any needed adjustments and discuss portrait lists and other details I need to know before the big day. Oh, you get a little happy to get you pumped for your wedding day around this time too!

Literally the best day ever. You've been waiting for this day to arrive and it's finally here! Me and my husband will be with you all day to capture the best memories. 

I can't wait to celebrate with you. I'll show up with gear in tow, grab a giant hug from you and I'm off to capture all of the tears, laughter, joy and every little moment you've dreamt about for ages.

Even after the toasts have ended, you've enjoyed your amazing honeymoon, and you've received your wedding images and thoroughly swooned over them...It's not over yet!

When I call you friend, I MEAN it. You aren't just another number or something to check off of my to-do list. I love keeping in touch, grabbing coffee together just to catch up. I'll celebrate the good times with you and pray with you through the not so good.
