A Joyful Summer Wedding at Cypress Point: Sarah Kate + Houston

On a warm summer day in Brandon, Mississippi, Sarah Kate and Houston said “I do” surrounded by the people who love them most. Their wedding at the beautiful Cypress Point was filled with heartfelt moments, infectious laughter, and a deep sense of joy that carried through every part of the day.

The day began with an easy and peaceful start. The girls gathered together in the bridal suite to get ready, filling the space with laughter, sweet conversations, and great tunes. Sarah Kate’s bridesmaids were so full of personality! They are all so uniquely fun, kind, and completely supportive. It was obvious how close this group was, and getting to know each of them made the morning so enjoyable.

One of the most memorable moments came when Sarah Kate and Houston shared a quiet, intimate first look. During this time, they exchanged private vows. This was a sacred and emotional pause before the day’s whirlwind truly began. The way they looked at each other said everything. Their love was tender, steady, and genuine, and being able to witness it in such a personal way was a privilege.

As guests began to arrive for the ceremony, you could feel the anticipation in the air. The space quickly filled to standing room only, which spoke volumes about how deeply Sarah Kate and Houston are loved. It seemed that every guest had a kind word or sweet story to share about the couple. That kind of admiration doesn’t come lightly. It comes from a lifetime of living and loving well.

Their ceremony took place beneath the oaks, framed by a rustic arbor and the golden summer sun. It was a picture-perfect moment as they exchanged vows and were pronounced husband and wife, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

From there, the celebration only grew. The reception was a non-stop party with a DJ who knew exactly how to keep the dance floor packed. Guests danced the night away, and laughter echoed through the space the entire evening. I honestly can’t remember the last time I laughed that hard while working—this group knew how to have a good time, and it was contagious.

Sarah Kate and Houston, thank you for letting me be part of such a joyful, love-filled day. Your wedding was a true reflection of who you are—gracious, deeply loved, and so much fun. Congratulations again! Enjoy just a snippet of what I’ve been working on through these sneaks!
