Natalie and Lance were married in the sweetest ceremony at The Countryside Venue and we truly could not have asked for a more beautiful day. The weather was absolutely perfect with sunshine, a light breeze, and the kind of spring temperatures that make you want to stay outside all day long. From the moment we arrived, everything about the day felt joyful.
The morning started with getting ready photos in Natalie’s suite, which was full of excitement and energy from the very beginning. There may have even been a little dancing happening while everyone finished hair and makeup. Those are always some of my favorite moments of the day because you can just feel how excited everyone is for what is about to happen.
Once everyone was ready, it was time for first looks. We started with Natalie’s first look with her dad and, just like always, it had me tearing up almost immediately. There is just something so emotional about those moments between a father and daughter on a wedding day. This one was especially sweet and heartfelt.
After that, Natalie shared her first look with Lance and it was so obvious how happy he was seeing his bride for the first time. I love getting to witness those reactions because they are always genuine and full of emotion. It was such a sweet moment between the two of them before the rest of the day officially began.
Soon it was time for the ceremony and the room was absolutely packed with the people who love them most. The entire ceremony felt warm, joyful, and full of emotion as Natalie and Lance said their vows surrounded by family and friends.
After the ceremony, we moved right into bridal party portraits and family photos before they headed off for a private dinner and reception. One thing about me is that I will absolutely pull my couples away for golden hour portraits if the light is good and thankfully Natalie and Lance trusted me because the light that evening was incredible. Those bride and groom portraits ended up being some of my favorites from the entire day.
The rest of the evening was spent celebrating with great food, cake, music from the DJ, and some fun on the dance floor. We ended the evening with a sparkler exit and a little game of pool so Natalie could show off her skills.
Natalie and Lance, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of such a beautiful day. I hope you love these additional sneaks while I continue working through your full gallery!
