Melanie and Jacob’s First Baptist Church of Jackson wedding on May 31 was one of those days that felt special from the very beginning. Surrounded by family, friends, and so much love, every part of their day reflected the joy of starting a new chapter together.

From the moment we arrived, there was a calm excitement in the air. Everything flowed so naturally, and it was easy to see how much thought and care had gone into every detail. The morning began with quiet anticipation in the bridal suite before giving way to the excitement of getting ready. One of my favorite moments of the day was Melanie’s first look with her dad. Those moments never fail to get me emotional, and this one was no exception.

Not long after, Melanie shared a first look with Jacob. His reaction said everything. He was completely captivated, and honestly, who could blame him? Melanie looked absolutely stunning. Watching the two of them together before the ceremony was such a sweet reminder of what the day was really about.

One of the many blessings of their First Baptist Church of Jackson wedding was the beautiful weather. The sunshine cloud cover gave us the perfect opportunity to step outside for portraits before the ceremony. The soft morning light created a beautiful backdrop and allowed us to capture some of my favorite images from the day.

Their ceremony at First Baptist Church of Jackson was reverent, heartfelt, and filled with love. Surrounded by the people who mean the most to them, Melanie and Jacob exchanged vows and officially began their marriage together. It was a beautiful reflection of their faith and commitment to one another.

Following the ceremony, guests gathered for a wonderful reception at First Baptist Church. The room was filled with laughter, conversation, and so much celebration. After sharing their first dances and cutting their cake, Melanie and Jacob spent time greeting guests and soaking in every moment with the people who came to celebrate alongside them.

The day concluded with a joyful flower petal exit before we headed to Melanie’s parents’ home for a few final portraits. This location held special meaning for their family, making it the perfect place to end their wedding day. We even got to include Melanie’s dog in a few photos, which made those final moments even more memorable.

This First Baptist Church of Jackson wedding was truly beautiful from beginning to end, and I am so grateful we had the opportunity to be part of it.
